Enjoy an evening of entertainment in historic downtown Ripon and discover the charm of small town hospitality. Please, no carry-ins are allowed in the park because beverage sales are needed to help cover entertainment expenses. A variety of beverages are available and participants are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. The band will perform from 7 to 10 pm at The Village Green in downtown Ripon. The evening will conclude with a free concert by Avalanche Lilly who will crank out a mixture of covers by some of your favorite rock bands. Those strolling up and down the sidewalks will find unique gifts, clothing, jewelry, furniture and more. Participating businesses will set up outdoor tables in front of or inside their stores piled high with merchandise that must go. Several shops will be open until 8:30 pm or later. Numerous businesses will have various forms of artistic expression on display in their establishments for patrons to enjoy. The ArtWalk will feature an array of paintings, photography, quilts, custom jewelry and more. This casual event, which takes place in conjunction with the Downtown Ripon ArtWalk, is designed to encourage art, entertainment, people watching, eating at Ripon’s fantastic restaurants.and just plain mingling. Businesses in the district will host a First Fridays Open Air Market & ArtWalk from 5:00 to 8:30 pm tonight (Friday, August 5th).
